EYFS teaching philosophy: respect for children's personality + positive relationships + enabling environment = learning and development

EYFS curriculum is mainly composed of joyful and challenging games. It emphasizes children’s participation in activities, attaches importance to children’s interests and achievements, and develops children’s potential in an all-round way with diversified and interrelated modules. To ensure that children’s learning is effective, our infant and toddler curriculum will have the following characteristics:

• Playing and Exploring – Engagement

• ActiveLearning-Motivation

• Creativity and critical thinking

Teaching Idea In EYFS teaching philosophy, any teaching activity should be child-centered. In order to implement this principle, we

• Collect information for children to understand their interest and growth mode at home before entering the kindergarten

• Focus on children's play patterns (schema, repetitive behavior patterns)

• Allow children to make their own decisions and choices (such as choosing the content, materials and methods of the game)

• Teachers are supporters of early childhood learning, not interventionists

• In order to meet the needs of children's personality development, teachers provide a variety of teaching methods
